(Update!) MOTHER NATURE HAS THROWN US A CURVEBALL THIS WEEK: THURSDAY’S SNOWFALL IN GREENSBORO WAS HEAVIER THAN EXPECTED AND WILL COVER THE COURSE WELL INTO SATURDAY. WITH THAT IN MIND, WE ARE PUSHING OFF OUR OFFICIAL OPENING UNTIL WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28, WHEN WE EXPECT FULL SUN AND TEMPERATURES IN THE 60’S. CHECK OUR WEBSITE OR CALL OUR PRO SHOP (802-533-7477) FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR TO BOOK A TEE TIME. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU NEXT WEEK!
Mountain View is pleased to announce that opening day at the course will be on Saturday, April 24, with nine temporary greens. Tennis will be announced soon!
Mother nature has cooperated this April, but there remains areas of the course where the soil temperatures are still too low and we will need those temperatures to come up to 54 degrees to protect the turf on the greens before they come out of dormancy. Please do your best to follow all instructions for play.
Spring permits are also available for purchase for an extra long Spring season! Learn more about the Spring permits here. For day visitors, please find the fee schedule here. Thanks to mother nature, 2021 will have the longest period on record for the Spring Permit at 71 days. This unlimited play offer is a great deal!
Dear Fellow MVCC Members,
Greetings from Mountain View! I hope this finds you and your loved ones safe and well during these challenging times. Snow is deep on the ground in Greensboro but preparations for our 2021 season are well underway. As always, we plan to open in mid-May once we are clear of snow and ice. While concern regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect it is having on our family and personal affairs remains paramount, improvements shown in recent public health data, as well as the ongoing administration of coronavirus vaccines, gives one hope.
Last year presented many challenges for MVCC but, with the support and good-natured understanding of our members, we succeeded in offering golf and tennis activities with relatively little interruption. In fact, golf and tennis play in 2020 by our members increased by 28% and 19%, respectively, over 2019, and over 900 individual members, guests and visitors took advantage of the opportunity to engage in safe outdoor activities at Mountain View.Read more

No written procedures can possibly address the full range of circumstances that may arise in the daily operation of a golf, tennis and social club. We all must therefore follow a golden rule:
