New in the MVCC Members-Only Website
 
With the peak summer season beginning, we are rolling out new features in our members-only website. We are starting with a few events to get experience with these features before expanding more broadly. You will find reminders on how to use the Members-Only Website later in this email. Online Sign-Up for Events:  Sign-up anywhere anytime. We are introducing online sign-up for 4 weekly events: Kid’s Night, Sunday Round Robin, Tennis Ladies’ Day and Tennis Men’s Day. You can sign up anyone on your membership and non-member guests.  You can also view who has signed up. Once you login, click on the “Event Calendar” in the website menu.  In the calendar, click on the specific event, then click “Sign-up Now” and follow the instructions.  (On a mobile device the calendar appears in “list view”. On a desktop or laptop, the default is “calendar view”, but you can switch to list view if you prefer.) Please note:
  •   For those who are internet challenged during the summer, you can still sign up at the pro-shop. We will enter your name online.
  •   We are not yet accepting payment online, non-member fees will still be collected at the pro-shop or event.
  •   Each event has a contact (event coordinator), whom you can contact about the event. Contact me about website issues.
Online sign up will improve pro-shop staff productivity and help the event organizers.
 
Online Sign-Up to Volunteer: We are introducing online sign-up for volunteer opportunities. We need parent hosts for Kid’s Night. Click the “Volunteering” link in the website menu or click the “Volunteer” button on any of the Kid’s Night event sign-up pages. There, you will find a description of what a parent host does and which nights still need hosts, and you can sign-up.
 
 
Please Upload Your Photo: Adding your photo to your profile contributes to a welcoming and friendly environment at MVCC. It helps members and staff to put a face to a name. Please upload your photograph to your profile. Head shots are best. This can be done via the “Standard Member Directory” link in the “Personal Information” section of your profile. The instructions are there. It is easy to upload a photo stored on your device.
 
Email a Member from the Member Directory: The members-only website contains an online member directory. If a member has provided an email address you can email that member by clicking on their email address. Click on the member’s name or photo to find more information on the member.
