From the Pro Shop 7/10/18

Thanks to everyone who participated in Tennis, Golf and Social events to celebrate Independence Day last week!   From the Tennis Round robins to the Golf competitions to a chilly Freestyle Friday to a wonderful evening for the Funky Fourth BBQ – it was a great week!

GOLF TOURNAMENT RESULTS-

7/4/18-President’s Challenge- Golfer’s took to the links to participate in the President’s challenge sponsored by Rick Ely. The first group in the morning posted a score of 41 in a one best ball of the foursome format. A threesome consisting of June Bascom, Michael Hoffman, and Alan Hale were the first group on the golf course – we drew a fourth player {blind draw Kathy Donnelly} out of a hat and it was enough to post the winning score. Each team received golf balls for their efforts donated by Rick……Thank you all for participating!

7/8/18-Mixed Team Championship-Format-Two-Person Scramble- A full field on a sunny Sunday afternoon headed out in a 1:00 p.m. shotgun. Our two player format tested even our seasoned player’s as each partner relied on a positive result from one another. The results are as follows: ***Please note… out “Tied” score policy-All ties are broken by utilizing #1 Handicap hole backwards***

3rd Place Winner’s with a 36-Sean and Stephanie Thompson won a match of cards.

2nd Place Winner’s with a 36-Brian and Wanda Niemi also won on a match of cards.

1st Place and 2018 Mixed Champions with a great score of 35! June Bascom and Michael Hoffman

Please remember golf clinics for Men are on Tuesday’s @ 2:30, Women are 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday’s and Junior’s will take place @ 11:00 a.m. on Saturday’s. Please contact the Pro Shop to sign up.
