Men’s July Golf Handicap and Senior Competition Tournaments on July 20
The Men’s July Handicap starts at 8:30 AM on July 20th. This is a one day event with tee times starting at 8:30 on Saturday July 20th
The entry fee is $10.
This is two tournaments in one, every one will play in the Handicap while those 55 and older will also compete in the Senior Championship. Please sign up by the end of the day 7/19 in the pro shop at 533-7477. If you show up by 8:30 on 7/20 you will be added to a group.
The format is a modified Stableford system. The highest point total wins. Points are:
- 1 for a bogey
- 2 for a par
- 4 for a birdie
- 8 for an eagle
- 12 for an double eagle
For the handicap, points are based on your net score. As an example, if you par a hole you get a stroke on, it’s a net birdie for 4 points. For the senior championship, points are based on your gross score.
You can only win one of the two events. If you are 55 or older and have the most points, you will win the senior championship, not the handicap.
